RESUMO:

This qualitative research, characterized as a case study, aims to investigate how young apprentices in the Carpentry Assistant course, from Fundação O Pão dos Pobres, through qualification for the use of digital tools, can develop technological skills necessary for professional performance ? . The research subjects will be 7 young people between 18 and 24 years old, students of the Carpentry Assistant Course, of the Young Apprentice Program offered by the Professional Education Center of the Fundação O Pão dos Pobres. The main objective of the research is to verify if the inclusion of contents and practices with digital tools in the Professional Learning Program of the Carpentry Assistant course, offered at the Fundação O Pão dos Pobres, will promote the development of technological skills to young apprentices, in order to qualify them for future professional insertion. For this, it is intended to promote an extension course of initial training for the use of digital technologies, which will be the product of this study. The analysis of the obtained data will be through the answers of the questionnaire, registration of the observations, of the activities developed in the Course of digital qualification, of the interviews, and through the filming / recordings of those moments. The importance of this study is related to the need for the professional learning program to address digital knowledge in the training of young apprentices, a fundamental skill for those seeking professional insertion in Information and Knowledge Societies and in the world of work.
