PÁGINAS: 50
GRANDE ÁREA: Ciências Humanas
ÁREA: Educação
RESUMO:

The use of Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (TDIC) with pedagogical strategies can be applied to several areas of knowledge. There are different TDIC that can be used in the field of education, such as interactive tools, digital games, learning objects, educational robotics, among others. However, one of the main problems faced is the lack of experience that teachers have in the use and development of these technologies. Thus, this research project intends to investigate how a continuing education course in Educational Robotics (ER) for teachers, taught in distance education mode, can contribute to the development of Computational Thinking (PC) in order to favor the emergence of scientific thinking, critical and creative. Therefore, RE will be used as a fundamental technology, as it is believed that it will be possible to develop diverse knowledge in an integrated manner. The target audience of this research are public school teachers who work in basic education. As for the methodological procedures, this investigation is characterized by being of an applied nature and as for the objectives it is exploratory, having its approach in a qualitative way. The research will be conducted through a case study, using as instrument for data collection two questionnaires to be applied, one at the beginning and the other at the end of the course. The resources used will be recycled and office materials, as well as open source software and platforms. It is believed that the training carried out with teachers, as its methodology is based on Papert's constructionist theory and uses low-cost materials, can present significant results in the process of qualifying teachers. It is expected that, using Educational Robotics, they can develop scientific, critical and creative thinking in their schools, developing skills and competences provided for in the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC).
