SUMMARY:

After the 2020 school year was held for the most part online due to the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, together with the numerous challenges and changes in education that we are facing, such as the implementation of the New Secondary School, this activity was thought of as a strategy to increase student engagement in classes. In this context, in addition to the difficulty of finding digital resources that address the disciplines of the Natural Sciences component, which address the needs of students to introduce these disciplines in their studies, in order to increase their engagement and learning, it is proposed to research a method for preparing from planning classes using learning through the development of digital games, verifying in this way if these resources will contribute to a meaningful student learning. This study will be based on a bibliographical research on the state of the art in this subject, carrying out a survey of teachers' requirements for the organization and planning of the use of digital games in their classes and, finally, to elaborate a proposal of methodology for the planning and the follow-up of the use of digital games in the teaching of disciplines in the curricular components of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. This work is based on qualitative research, using practical action research as the chosen methodological strategy, seeking to diagnose the problem in its specific context, being carried out collectively to improve practice in the classroom. From the participation of students through the creation of games using TDICs, with the purpose of encouraging them to learn Physics in a more fun way, implementing intervention proposals based on evidence, scientific knowledge and ethical and socio-environmentally responsible principles. It is expected that these students will be encouraged to delve deeper into the subjects covered in class, expanding their reflections, exploring problem situations and interpreting phenomena in their daily lives.
