RESUMO:

Data from the 2020 school census show that most students linked to Professional and Technological Education (EPT) are young people between 15 and 20 years old. This public has rights and duties guaranteed by law, especially in the Youth Statute, inaugurated in 2013, which enables their participation, including in spaces of representation in the EPT. Considering the importance, recognition and guarantee of constitutionally provided rights in relation to youth, this study aims to analyze the perceptions of young people linked to secondary education integrated with professional education (EMIEP) in relation to the Youth Statute, in order to elaborate an educational product that promotes the more effective participation of youth in spaces of representation. From the general objective, the specific objectives were structured: to describe the theoretical references, policies and regulations designed for youth and EPT; characterize the youths linked to the EPT and identify their perceptions/perspectives/possibilities about the Youth Statute; develop an educational product to elucidate/guide young people about existing regulations and policies for young people, in order to encourage their participation in spaces of representation. The research will be of an applied nature, based on the dialectical method. The procedures for the production of data are based on bibliographical, documental and survey research, based on the application of an online questionnaire with open and closed questions. The research field will be the Rubén Darío State Education Institute, in Sapucaia do Sul/RS and the subjects are the 167 students enrolled in the technical course in Administration at EMIEP. After the production and analysis of data, using the content analysis technique, it is intended to develop an educational product that contributes to the participation of these young people in spaces for elaboration and reflection on public policies for Youth.
