RESUMO:

The present research project, entitled: "Continuing Teacher Education: Transformations of Pedagogical Practice Mediated by Digital Technologies in Professional and Technological Education", has the general objective of analyzing teachers' perceptions about the relationship between work as an educational principle and continuing education. for the use of digital technologies in their pedagogical practice. As a theoretical contribution, the following topics will be studied in depth: Historical Context of the EPT (Integrated High School; Federal Network of Vocational and Technological Education); Work as an Educational Principle; Teaching Identity (Legal Aspects of Teacher Training; Teaching knowledge for professional practice); Continuing Teacher Training; Digital Technologies in the educational context (Cyberculture; Digital Literacy). It is a research with a qualitative approach of an applied nature. As for the research objectives, it is characterized as being exploratory. As a methodological strategy, bibliographic and documental research and case study were adopted. The research data collection will be carried out at the Instituto Federal Sul-rio-grandense Advanced Campus in Novo Hamburgo, and the research subjects will be the twenty-two teachers of the integrated high school of the Mechatronics course that takes place during the day (morning and later) at the said institution. Such teachers make up the technical and propaedeutic teaching of the course in question. The data obtained will be confronted from a dialectical perspective using the literature review, the documents used for analysis and the material produced in the forms and interviews with the research subjects, thus performing the discursive textual analysis. Based on these procedures, it will be possible to understand the teachers' perceptions, as well as the possibilities and contradictions that involve teaching pedagogical practice. It is necessary to emphasize that the research subjects will be the protagonists in the elaboration of the educational product that will later be available for its use, with a view to qualifying the teaching pedagogical praxis.
