RESUMO:

Professional and Technological Education had a great advance from the creation of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology in 2008. However, there is still much to study and improve in the processes of access, permanence and students success who incorporate the day to day of these institutions. In this research, a qualitative approach will be taken, of an applied and exploratory nature in relation to the objectives. The procedures are close to the case study research and will have the complementarity of quantitative data available on Nilo Peçanha Platform and in the Academic Records Coordination at IFRS Erechim Campus. In this sense, this research will be about students permanence and success who enter via selective process and who have an INSS professional rehabilitation bias demanded by the INSS in subsequent technical courses at the secondary level at IFRS Erechim Campus. It seeks to know the causes and possible effects that lead to the retention and/or dropout of these students, who enter the subsequent technical courses at IFRS Erechim Campus via the regular admission selection process. This study will be developed based on this worker who is not capacitated for the previous activity, their conditions and specific aspects, considering that the professional readaptation aims at reintegration into the labor market. Thus, we seek to create organizational strategies for the access, permanence and success of these students, also allowing that in this rehabilitation process, combined with professional education, may have the possibility of a different look at the aspects in the work world. In this direction, the institutional mission of providing an integral formation is reaffirmed, with a view to an entire human emancipation, supported by the principles of science, culture, technology and work that are the bases of the Professional and Technological Master's Program (ProfEPT). This work also aims at applicability through the development of an educational product, which indicates institutional alternatives to better serve students in INSS professional rehabilitation with the aim of permanence and success in subsequent technical courses of IFRS Erechim Campus.
