SUMMARY:

The present research entitled "The 'X' of the matter in the prevention and tackling of cybercrimes: teaching strategies based on the listening of students and teachers of Professional and Technological Education" aims to investigate, as a general objective, what students and teachers of the Integrated Technical Course in Computer Science, at IFRS Campus Farroupilha, understand as cybercrimes and what teaching strategies they suggest for tackling and preventing them in the context of Professional and Technological Education, aiming at integral human formation. The following themes will be further explored: Cyber Law, Technology, Integrated Technical Course in Computer Science, Professional and Technological Education, Social Network, X Network (formerly Twitter). This is a qualitative research with an applied nature, of an exploratory character. As a methodological strategy, bibliographic research will be adopted, with literature review and analysis of dissertations on the topic, especially from PROFEPT, the search of which will be conducted from its inception in 2009, the year of creation of the Federal Institutes, until 2023, documentary, with the mapping of legislation on the topic and analysis of the Pedagogical Project of the Integrated Technical Course in Computer Science, which will be the object of the project and field research, with the application of questionnaires to students and teachers of the course. Date collection will be done in person, through the completion of questionnaires, and the collected data will be analyzed for the elaboration of a subsequent educational product. The aim is to create a digital booklet on the topic of Cyber Law and internet security, intended for students of professional technical courses in the field of Information Technology, professionals in the fields of education, law, and information technology, and other interested parties.
