SUMMARY:

This research project is linked to the Professional Master's Degree in Professional Education (ProfEPT), Research Line Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT, Macroproject 6 - Organization of EPT pedagogical spaces.  The research deals with the National Student Assistance Program (Pnaes) which has been developed in the Professional, Scientific and Technological Education Network, since its approval in 2010. The referred Program has a multiplicity of management, whereas, in the context of the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), is regulated through the Student Assistance Policy. Therefore, research with a qualitative, participatory approach and guided by the paradigm of dialectical materialism. The investigation aims to analyze the implications and contributions of Pnaes for the permanence and success of beneficiaries and its relationship with the configuration of the Program's management and with the work carried out by the IFRS student assistance teams. The intricacies of this management around Permanence and Success will be the subject of research analysis.  For data collection, semi-structured interviews will be used with students benefiting from Pnaes and the Focus Group technique will be used with teams from 3 IFRS campuses, respecting the representation of the IFRS implementation phases.  The results will contribute to the development of an educational booklet for evaluation and podcast.
