RESUMO:

The present research proposal has as main objective to investigate the
importance of financial education in the trajectory of PROEJA students
(National Program for the Integration of Vocational Education with Education
in the Youth and Adult Education Modality), with the purpose of
contribute to the development of skills and competences in management
personal finance and encourage the practice of conscious consumption. The study
addresses the transversality between financial education, consumer culture and the
conceptual bases of Vocational and Technological Education (EPT). To the
investigation will be adopted the qualitative investigation of exploratory character, which
consolidates educational research through an intervention proposal
pedagogical. Bibliographic research is presented to highlight concepts and
structures that permeate the field of financial education behavior. THE
research will be carried out at the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul – IFRS, campus
Porto Alegre, with the students of the technical course in administration of the modality
PROEJA
