LABOR LAW AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF CITIZEN CONSCIOUSNESS: PERSPECTIVES AND CHALLENGES IN PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION

The research will be developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education on a National Network (PROFEPT), in the line of research Educational Practices in Professional and Technological Education (EPT), Macroproject 1 - Methodological proposals and teaching resources in formal and non-formal teaching at EPT, under the guidance of professor Josiane Carolina Soares Ramos Procasko. Entitled “Labor Law and the construction of citizen consciousness: perspectives and challenges in Professional and Technological Education” its theme is education for citizenship, based, especially, on Labor Law. The general objective is to investigate whether the development and application of an educational product can contribute to the citizenship training of students taking the IT Technician course for Internet Integrated into High School. The research, with a qualitative approach and applied nature, is part of an exploratory perspective. The methodological strategy involves bibliographical research, literature review, analysis of dissertations on the topic and documentary research. In addition, field research will be carried out to enable surveys of students' prior knowledge, as well as the evaluation of learning after the development of the educational product, through a workshop. In this way, the objective is to give direction to the research, starting from the context of the students' reality, so that it effectively contributes to educational practices. As an educational product, the aim is to create an educational game that can contribute to the learning process about labor rights and, consequently, to citizenship training.
