SUMMARY:

With the exponential advancement of computer technologies, programming skills have become an increasingly pressing need in the world of specialized work. Thus, teaching programming represents a challenge for both educators and students, given that it implies a change in paradigm and approach to the analysis of specific problems. Computer programming is a fundamental skill for careers related to computing and information technology. However, it is notable that many students face challenges in understanding and applying certain concepts related to this area of knowledge.
The understanding of concepts related to computer programming can be optimized through students' prior knowledge, which can result in more effective and productive learning. Such previous skills are related to digital skills, which encompass a set of skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for the safe, critical and creative use of digital technologies in the contemporary world. The incorporation of these skills in teaching programs can provide an environment conducive to the development of students in relation to technologies and, consequently, in understanding the concepts of computer programming.
The objective of this work is to propose a didactic sequence for the discipline of programming logic that can encompass both the appropriation of specific knowledge of the discipline and the promotion of digital skills in students. Thus, the aim is to provide students with comprehensive training, offering knowledge and skills that enable a broader and more comprehensive understanding of the contemporary world. The proposal therefore aims to develop a teaching methodology that can provide students with the tools and resources necessary for omnilateral training, capable of contemplating not only programming logic, but also the digital skills necessary for its application.
