SUMMARY:

This research project is being developed in the Professional Master's course in Professional and Technological Education, which belongs to the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS). It is linked to the research line Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (EPT) and belongs to the Macroproject Organization of pedagogical spaces in EPT. Its purpose is to analyze the asset management of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFSul), highlighting tools and forms of control with regard to the incorporation of permanent movable assets into the institution from teaching, research and extension projects involving EFA. This is an applied, descriptive type of research, with an exploratory dimension, which will be developed using a qualitative approach, accompanied by a quantitative treatment. To this end, document analysis, bibliographical and field research will be used, involving a case study, in which those responsible for the management and control of the aforementioned assets at each IFSul Campus and Rectory will take part, totaling 14 subjects since the Gravataí Campus will not be involved as the researcher is responsible for the Warehouse and Assets Coordination. The Teaching, Research and Extension Coordinators of the 14 Campuses and the Rectory will also be involved. Data will be collected by applying a questionnaire to those responsible for the management and control of movable assets and conducting semi-structured interviews with the Teaching, Research and Extension Coordinators. The aim of this research is to point out the importance of asset management of movable property, taking into account current legislation, as an integral part of educational management. Through the control and conservation of these assets, the academic community will have adequate objective conditions for the development of comprehensive education for students, contributing to improving the quality of teaching. In conclusion, this research project may contribute to the academic training of the researcher, as it will provide support for the production of the dissertation and the educational product that is part of the course she is taking, as well as improving the control of movable assets acquired through teaching, research and extension projects, contributing to the achievement of the educational objectives of educational institutions that offer EFA.
