SUMMARY:

This master's qualification project proposes a systematic literature review (SLR), based on the PRISMA protocol, to investigate the integration of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into Portuguese language writing instruction. The research is based on the premise that teaching writing is a complex procedural skill and that the use of GenAI, mediated by prompt engineering, offers new possibilities and pedagogical challenges within the context of basic education. The theoretical framework articulates the socio-interactionist perspective and the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base) guidelines with widely known artificial intelligences. The methodology details a rigorous process of searching and selecting studies in databases such as ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) and the CAPES Periodicals Portal. The ultimate goal is the development of an educational product: a practical guide for teachers, aimed at guiding the ethical and didactic use of these tools to enhance textual production and the provision of high-quality feedback.
